Bite the Island Podcast!

Second year Holland College Journalism student Val Mandujano is studying the history behind some Island restaurants and is compiling her findings as a podcast. Val was kind enough to include the Water Prince in her studies and we would like to share some of our history with you through her great work! The podcast is about 45 mins so even if you could just listen to a few minutes to get her some clicks it would be appreciated. She also has a summary transcript that’s about a 3-5 min read (link below).

Taste of HOME

This is a great piece with Islander Jason Kun. He sums up home while reminding us of how great it is to live, visit, or return to the Island and that even when we go, we don’t really leave. Though now living in Toronto, Jason continues to be a great ambassador to PEI and Island seafood through his business @islandoysters

Thanks Jason for the shout out and for reminding us about how incredibly lucky we are to be connected by such a wonderful home and the power of food to bring us back, even when we can’t always get back.

May be an image of sky, ocean and text that says 'PRINCE EDWVARL i ISLAND with Jason Kun'
